12 year old Armagnac from the Bas region, produced by the highly respected Laberdolive House, which has been making brandy for over 100 years. As such, expect a very well crafted Armagnac, made by distillers and blenders with years of experience behind them.
Incredibly smooth, sweet initial taste that then fills the palette.
There is much to love about this brandy. The color is a deep, rich amber. The nose is very estery, primarily apple, supported by banana, and trimmed with pear. The palate is a wealth of baked goods and ripe fruit (liquid pie, anyone?), which fades to a finish kissed with vanilla.
