An interesting expression from the Delord range, features Bas Armagnac which has been bottled at 45.9% ABV. Previously, Delord had only released Armagnac at 40% ABV - so we're rather excited to see the difference that the additional strength imparts...

Beautiful fruits on the nose, a warm feeling fills the soul as you breath in the complex, vibrant oak and very rich aromas... I shall definitely buy again, my Snifter with warming kit is on order, ready to drink this wonderful Armagnac as nature intended!
this armagnac is quite dark, showing its old age. The nose is rich and complex, spicy, dark chocolate, toffee, vanilla etc. In mouth it's full but mild and round, mouthfilling, and very complex, with same aromas than the nose. The oakiness is there but really melted due to the very long stay in casks (much more than 25 years) . The final is very long.
