This is a 1966 single vintage Armagnac, Château de Léberon. Not only is an incredibly well-aged expression, it was distilled in the same year that The Beach Boys released Pet Sounds, one of the best albums of the '60s.
Dense rancio and tobacco notes, juxtaposed with brown sugar, hazelnut cream and juicy gooseberries.
