Enigma Verte de Fougerolles Absinthe 70cl

This superb unfiltered premium absinthe was crafted from a grape-base alcohol and a combination of aromatic herbs and plants, including grande and petite wormwood, anise, fennel and hyssop. Each plant is distilled separately before they are blended in an alcohol distillate and finished with an 'esprit vert' (which translates to green spirit - a natural maceration of additional plants in grape spirits).

It was bottled at 72% ABV, which preserves the natural green colour. This is sure to please those who are searching for a more traditional style of absinthe - but make sure you dilute it very well!
