Osmote Cayuga Lake Chardonnay 2018
From the Osmote family winery in the Finger Lakes region of New York state comes this wonderful 2018 vintage Chardonnay. This young winery has ambitions to one day grow its own prized vineyards on its farm in the village of Burdett. In the meantime, winemaker Ben Riccardi combines his wealth of experience with select grape harvests from the surrounding Fingerlakes vineyards. This expression was made using grapes from vineyards around the Cuyaga Lake.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Sweet pears, crisp green apples, and stone fruits combine with custardy creaminess and subtly herbaceous undertones.
