Melina Honey Wine is made in Scotland. It's what's more commonly known as mead but the producer uses the term 'honey wine' to emphasise that this is only made from honey and water - there's no added sugar or neutral alcohol. The results is a gastronomic product that bears comparison with sherry or vin jaune, and would be remarkably delicious drunk with goat's cheese.
