Seriously fancy wine alert. Condrieu in the Northern Rhone valley is a tiny appellation which produces some of the most intensely-flavoured wines in the world from the viognier grape - think apricots, peaches, wild flower meadows, honey, nuts, the works. This stuff is like nectar. Like most Condrieu this offers a lot of pleasure drunk young but it does take time to open up so we would recommend decanting and don't serve too cold.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Saline fresh nose with apricots. Rich full body with good balance and freshness, and intense mineral notes. Very fine.
