Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Raspberry, cherry and brown sugar. Punchy citrus and ginger.

Palate Curaçao orange, stewed plums, thick Oloroso Sherry and caramel.

Finish Christmas cake, cinnamon and lacquered wood.

A Sherry malt indeed
I'm always on the lookout for sherried malts, the more sherried the better, and like the previous reviewer found it to be superb. If i had one small comment it would be that it's a tad sweeter than many may prefer, but i have a sweet tooth so its no problem for me, & If you like your Glendronachs, try this beauty.

Couldn't believe my nose when I opened it up... My gosh! I almost mistook it for a well-aged spanish brandy it's so sherried! The sherry is absolutely flawless in this, no trace of sulphur, just plenty of nuttiness, grape, and spice. I was recently told that one of the best sherried malts in this price bracket was the 15 year old Balvenie Single Cask, but it did not even come close to this. Look no further if you want pure sherried malt delight!
