An interesting blended whisky from Japanese producer, Sasanokawa Shuzo (whom are also the chaps behind the Yamazakura whiskies). As noted on the label, Sasanokawa Shuzo got into the whisky game back in 1946, but the company has been producing sake and shochu since the late 1700s!
Laid-back notes of honey'd barley and white chocolate, with a touch of lemon drizzle cake.
Layers of icing sugar, hay and orange peel.
Medium length. Just a whisper of smoked paprika spiciness.
Only whisky I like, very nice
