Worm tubs hark back to the days of old, you don't see many of them around in modern-day distilleries but thankfully a few have retained these old-school bits of condensing kit, favouring the robust, heavy whiskies that they help to produce. This is a single cask batch of Wormtub 12 Year Old, a splendid Speyside single malt that finished its maturation in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled at cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration.
