Wormtub 12 YO Single Cask Bottling Note

Something special for fans of Wormtub here. A single cask expression of the full flavoured whisky, matured for 12 years and finished in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead. Old-school condensers were used to make this Speyside single malt and it's been bottled at natural cask strength without any added colour, showcasing the big and bold character of wormtub condensers.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: The sherry character is amped up, with plenty of raisins, candied citrus, spicy fruitcake, and toasted oak.

Palate: Plenty of sherry influence, along with toasted walnuts, spiced biltong, and dried currants.

Finish: Long and savoury.

Wormtub 12 Year Old Single Cask Reviews

Aberlour & Mortlach look out!!

Somewhere between an old a’bundah and Mortlach 16yr old. Doesn’t need much water for a 58.3% fantastic cask involvement, burnt hazelnuts and toffee apple on pallet. Smooth finish like an expensive cognac.
