This single-cask edition of the beloved Wormtub Speyside single malt spent 12 years maturing and was finished in a first-fill oloroso sherry hogshead before being bottled up at a satisfying cask strength of 57.4%. The colour is all-natural, and there's none of that chill filtration going on here either, so you can explore the impact of the classic bit of distilling kit that is the worm tub condenser, alongside the magnificence of sherry cask finishing in all its splendour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Juicy, boozy sultanas, maple and pecan pastries, and fruit and nut milk chocolate join zesty marmalade and dense, sweet baking spice.

Palate Candied walnuts and oily malt welcome the way for notes of cured meat, raisins, and fruit-studded scones.

Finish Savoury spices join for the finish while rich sherried oak and oily, meaty malt linger for an age.

It’s a nice whisky but I found the 10 year old had more of a rich, sherry hit (and is £25 cheaper).
