Wolfburn Love Potion
Single malt Scotch whisky from the Wolfburn Distillery, which has been matured mostly in Oloroso sherry casks, alongside a touch of fresh bourbon barrel matured whisky too. Tasty as ever from the team all the way up in Thurso (seriously, take a look at a map – it is incredibly north).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Marzipan, orange zest, barley, and blackberry jam on slightly singed toast.
Palate
Cinnamon and nutmeg, with chocolate chip cookie and raisin developing later on.
Finish
Dry oak balanced by sweet sultana.
