Wolfburn Kylver Release 3 Bottling Note

This is the third release from Wolfburn's Kylver Series - each one features a different from from the runic alphabet found on the Kylver stone (one of the earliest forms of alphabet discovered). Emblazoned upon this bottling is the rune meaning thurs, which meant "thorn" to some, while to others it meant "giant". This limited edition expression shows off a bourbon-cask-lead flavour profile, with a whisper of Sherry sneaking in later on...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Soft waves of fresh vanilla pod and angelica give it plenty of vanilla notes early on. These are soon joined by waxy fruit and a hint of charred oak cutting through the sweetness.

Palate: Crunchy brown sugar followed by banana fritters (with a hint of smoke carrying on) and oily walnut.

Finish: Quite long and spicy, with cinnamon and nutmeg lingering on the finish.
