Wolfburn Highland Whisky Festival 2019
This limited edition Wolfburn was exclusively matured in bourbon casks and released in celebration of the first Highland Whisky Festival in May 2019. After it was aged in the Highlands, a limited outturn of 660 bottles was released at 46% ABV. Oodles of creamy notes in here from those bourbon casks to enjoy.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
The subtlest hint of fragrant smoke, with lemon curd, creamy almond and apple blossom.
Palate
Cookie dough ice cream and buttery pastries, with cinnamon butter and cut grass.
Finish
Milk chocolate and floral honey linger.
