This limited edition from William Larue Weller is a bourbon of the people. C.Y.P.B. stands for Craft Your Perfect Bourbon, which is what the brand asked people to do a few years back, letting them choose their ideal bourbon recipe, proof, warehouse location and age. Over 100,200 gave their opinion, and what did they choose? A wheated bourbon, aged on the highest warehouse floors for eight years and bottled at 47.5% ABV, and this is that whiskey!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cherry jam and orange oil, with notes of spicy oak and butterscotch.
Palate
Peaches and cream, alongside more butterscotch, oaky vanilla and a touch more citrus.
Finish
A spiced finish with citrus peels lingering.
