Part of Buffalo Trace's 2013 edition of their Antique Collection, The William Laure Weller Bourbon doesn't fail to make an impression. Bottled at "barrel proof", a tremendous 68.1% abv, it's the strongest William Laure Weller yet, and it still ripples with powerful vanilla and spices.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose A relaxed nose, which is surprising given the abv. Plums, leather and a whiff of grassy tobacco.

Palate Nutty and sweet. Honey smoothness alongside dried fruit hints and that irresistible vanilla.

Finish A peppery finish that lasts.

Overall Big, bold and bloomin' brilliant.

In my opinion the best america has,even better than the stagg,the mouthfeel on this whiskey is huge and so complex wish i could purchase a few more bottles.
