Nose Cashew nuts and toffee with hints of dark chocolate. Fresh orange peel and cinnamon. Freshly baked bread and cereal notes come through later.
Palate Spices immediately come to the fore - cinnamon, vanilla pods and pepper. Then lots more orange peel, along with other tropical fruits including pineapple and papaya. Warm toffee and raisin notes underpin the proceedings.
Finish Warm and long, moving away from the spice character and towards the dark chocolate - reminiscent of sticky toffee pudding. Tasty.
Overall A well-balanced blended malt and a rich, oily, dessert-like dram.
