From William Grant comes Aerstone Sea Cask, a 10 year old single malt hailing from the Ailsa Bay Distillery. Its decade of maturation wasn't spent quite in the sea, though those maritime notes were still soaked up thanks to its ageing process in warehouses by the sea on the Ayrshire coast in Scotland.
Buttery toffee, creamy vanilla, freshly baked shortbread, honeyed malt, orange citrus and a dusting of cinnamon and cocoa.
Floral malt, nougat, vanilla sponge and more honey, with orange sweeties, icing sugar and earthy oak.
Notes of clove, candied lemon and vanilla pod linger, as a pinch of salt appears on the finish.

Smooth and light, just asking for another sip.
Tasteful and very smooth. It was a present bought by a non-whisky drinker, and I first could not find it in my Whisky bible. But I like this one!
Its the Dogs, what a terrific whisky, I cant bear whisky with a peaty/smokie flavour, saw this on offer in Tesco and after reading its history , thought i would try it, best thing I've done for ages, If you don't try it you will have lost out.
Really nice dram notes of toffee and finish of salt closest thing to liquid salted caramel you will find
Can't go wrong with this whisky! Bought this one for €20 in the Netherlands, like the peated one too!
