The 22 year old blend from the Whyte and Mackay stable. A very well balanced, classic whisky.

Absolutely crackin' bottle o' whisky. As mentioned before the Dalmore is clearly there, and being a big fan of them this made for a nice change, a nice blend.
Changed my perception of realm outside SMSW. There is good sherried notes; there is comfortable hint of spice and peat; there is complexity and depth to brag and there is not a huge price-tag with it. Truly "supreme" when it comes to affordable blended scotch.
Since writing the above review I have finally got round to trying some Dalmore and I can now say there is definitely a lot of Dalmore used in this and when you consider Dalmore 18 is over £80 and the youngest whisky in this is 22 years old, that makes this a bit of a bargain.
Supreme is a very appropriate name for this blend, it's an absolute cracker. The first thing you notice is it's very heavily influenced by Speyside whiskies with an amazing depth of flavours such as pears, oranges, coffee, vanilla, golden syrup, muscovado sugar and honey. It's rich, very smooth, wonderfully complex, exceptionally well balanced and has a long finish. It would be a very poor decision to dismiss this just because it's a blend.
