Wire Works Calvados Arrivée
Wire Works Calvados Arrivée is a dual maturation of White Peak Distillery's lightly-peated spirit. First, it was aged in bourbon barrels, and then it was finished in first-fill Calvados casks for three years. These particular casks held the apple cider brandy for a whole decade. Did someone say summertime Highballs?
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Green apples, vanilla extract, rhubarb and custard, fresh cut grass, fruit salad sweets, raspberries, watermelon, dolly mixture.
Palate
White chocolate, baked apple pie, cinder toffee, green grapes, Digestive biscuits, honeydew melon, cinnamon buns, icing sugar.
Finish
Delicate smoke, baking spices, meringue, apple crumble.
