A Japanese blended whisky from the White Oak distillery, which is in Hyogo, just west of Kobe. Makes for a good value-for-money introduction to the world of Japanese whisky. White Oak is also known for producing the Akashi range...
Honey'd cereal, green apple and a few sultanas.
White chocolate, floral malt, a drizzle of maple syrup.
Slightly oily, with a pinch of pink peppercorn.

Delicious whiskey, my introduction to Japanese malts. Greatly enjoyed it, and was impressed even with it being a blend.
Nose: Very light lemons, some heat from the alcohol. Palate: Pear drop chewy texture with tentacles of the wood. After: Fades quickly, but this is young. Some elements of the palate hang out in the shadow of the whiskey.
