Huxley Rare Genus Bottling Note

A very interesting release from the Whiskey Union team - Huxley Rare Genus is an Atlantic ocean-spanning expression, made with a blend of whiskey from America, Canada and Scotland! The name is a reference to Thomas Henry Huxley, a 19th century biologist and anatomist, and the label features a mobsprey - a mythical combination of some sort of bird, wildcat and moose.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla-forward, with layers of cooking spice and mineral-y smoke.

Palate: Black tea, honey-dipped fruit, light peat.

Finish: Sugared peels, dry barley and dark chocolate.
