The Macnab William Evans Bottling Note

Another whisky from the range of independent bottlers Heroes & Heretics created to celebrate the classic John Macnab novel. In the story, three esteemed members of society challenge themselves to take a stag, a salmon, and a brace of grouse within 48 hours. To mirror this, Heroes & Heretics have teamed up with William Evans, Cordings, and Farlows to represent each three, so the bottling you see before you honours William Evans.

The whisky itself is a 15-year-old Westport, which is Glenmorangie whisky combined with a teaspoon from another distillery. This teaspoon malt was distilled back on 31 October 200, aged in a single hogshead cask (#900214), and then bottled on 24 October 2022 at 50% ABV, with an outturn of 300 bottles.
