“Vanilla green apples and werthers originals. Would be a bargain at twice the price but I'm a sucker for a cask strength and this is s beauty at bargain price especially as I picked it up on sale”

Cask strength blended Irish whiskey from West Cork, which has been allowed to marry in first-fill bourbon barrels. Rather punchy, full-bodied stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Sharp green apple and lime, followed by a mellow touch of vanilla. A hint of treacle develops after a few minutes.

Palate

Cookie dough and spiced rum, with underlying hints of cooked banana and raw cinnamon.

Finish

Cherry bakewells and lemon peel.
