West Cork Cask Strength

West Cork Cask Strength Bottling Note

Cask strength blended Irish whiskey from West Cork, which has been allowed to marry in first-fill bourbon barrels. Rather punchy, full-bodied stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sharp green apple and lime, followed by a mellow touch of vanilla. A hint of treacle develops after a few minutes.

Palate: Cookie dough and spiced rum, with underlying hints of cooked banana and raw cinnamon.

Finish: Cherry bakewells and lemon peel.

Reviews for West Cork Cask Strength
Tread softly & carefully with this one methinks !!
First tasting nearly took my head off!! Geez I do like to have my whiskey neat or maybe just a drop (10 per cent ) water !! West Cork cask strength demanded water & more than usual, plus leave to settle for a while & then still packs a mighty punch!! My verdict is this is too strong for me to enjoy properly so I will look forward to sharing with others to hear their views!!!
