West Cork Cask Strength

Cask strength blended Irish whiskey from West Cork, which has been allowed to marry in first-fill bourbon barrels. Rather punchy, full-bodied stuff.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sharp green apple and lime, followed by a mellow touch of vanilla. A hint of treacle develops after a few minutes.

Palate Cookie dough and spiced rum, with underlying hints of cooked banana and raw cinnamon.

Finish Cherry bakewells and lemon peel.

Reviews for West Cork Cask Strength
Tread softly & carefully with this one methinks !!
First tasting nearly took my head off!! Geez I do like to have my whiskey neat or maybe just a drop (10 per cent ) water !! West Cork cask strength demanded water & more than usual, plus leave to settle for a while & then still packs a mighty punch!! My verdict is this is too strong for me to enjoy properly so I will look forward to sharing with others to hear their views!!!

Woot woot
Vanilla green apples and werthers originals. Would be a bargain at twice the price but I'm a sucker for a cask strength and this is s beauty at bargain price especially as I picked it up on sale
