Wemyss Winter Spice 1982 (Teaninich)
A spicy and warming Teaninich bottled at cask strength (44.4%), without colouring or chill filtration, by Wemyss Malts.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Very spicy, bursting with cinnamon, ginger and cloves, followed by revealing notes of sweet candied fruits and demerara sugar.
Palate
The palate is fresh and vibrant, which belies its age. A grassy, herbal note fades to reveal mint, sweet spice and cloved oranges.
Finish
Spiced marmalade notes fade slowly on the tongue.
Overall
This whisky more than lives up to its name and provides a tasty, warming malt for those chilly evenings.
