Virginia Black is a collaboration between Brent Hocking (who created the DeLeón Tequila range) and Drake. Yes, Drake the Canadian rapper and actor. That Drake. A very handsomely presented expression, made using a combination of 2, 3, and 4 year old bourbon.
Brown sugar, salted popcorn, glace cherries.
Toasted marshmallow, hot cinnamon and green apple slices. Generous helpings of caramel, too.
Black pepper and sweet cinnamon notes remain.

This crap is awful. The nose was promising, but the palate lacked any sort of complexity. Harsh finish.
Stop buying liquor based on a rap star's endorsement.......Just bc you drink something bc P. The tasting notes by Master of Malt are very accurate for people who haven't tried it, Overall its not the best bang for your dollar buts definitely a respectable contestant in the market.
