All the way from Orkney comes this mysterious single malt - no clues as to who distilled it, but what we do know if that it was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice range. It was distilled back in 2010 and aged initially in American oak, before a finishing period in a cask that previously held imperial milk stout beer! Very intriguing stuff!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Toasted cedar and earthy barley, with a touch of treacle tart developing.

Palate

Quite chocolatey on the palate, though savoury oak with a smidge of smoke remains at the core of this one.

Finish

Oatcakes, salted caramel and pine.
