A single malt Irish whiskey from the Cooley distillery, Tyrconnell is incredibly creamy and smooth.
Sweet and crisp with orchard fruits and a malty character. Oaked dryness and an oily note.
Full and sweet with barley malt and hot buttered granary toast with honey.
Dry and grassy with a little spice.

Great dram and unbeatable price. I find a little Old Grand Dad 125 in the middle. Are those the casks by chance?
Great bottle, wonderful fruit aromas and a remarkably smooth finish. Warming to the soul. My new go to for under 40$.
5 of 5 with an extra star for price. It's as good as the 16 year old Bushmills I have in the cabinet.
In my early days of developing my whiskey tastebuds, I was failing to find a bottle of Black Bush in Leeds...... The cellar man recommended this and Redbreast.... At least he had a 50% recommendation rate after .....
