Hudson Double Charred Whiskey (35cl)

Hudson Double Charred Whiskey is a Pheonix whisky, made after a 2012 fire broke out at the Tuthilltown Distillery when a build-up of flammable vapors in the still room set off a backdraft that nearly caused the farm to go up in smoke. The exterior of the freshly filled barrels was charred during the fire, burning off any labels or markings that identified the spirit inside, so the brand set them aside to age and, on the two­ year anniversary of the fire, the casks were blended into a limited edition release to commemorate Tuthilltown’s recovery. This is a 350ml bottle.
