Turntable Bittersweet Symphony

Turntable Bittersweet Bottling Note

The impressive musically-themed Turntable whisky range expands with Bittersweet Symphony. A very malt-forward blend, this one combines Craigellachie whisky matured in a PX puncheon (22% of the blend) and an oloroso butt (21%), as well as Blair Athol aged in virgin oak casks (17%) and Balmenach single malt, matured in a PX puncheon (21%). The grain component comes from North British Distillery, with 19% of the blend being single grain aged in virgin oak barrels. Bonus points for having a name that makes us think of one of the best walking songs to have been created.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Gingerbread, sticky black fruits, toffee apples, vanilla, and dark chocolate.

Palate More dried fruit and warming spice as well as rich malt, caramel, dried herbs, and Black Forest gâteau.

Finish Spicy and sweet.
