Another cracking single malt from Tullibardine, independently bottled up by those fabulous Thompson Bros.! Distilled in 1993, this expression spent the next 28 years resting in a single cask, which was eventually cracked open to release an outturn of 347 bottles of this splendid Highlander.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich cocoa with vanilla pods, lemon peel, and a whiff of grapefruit with gently floral honey.
Palate
Bold barley with peppery spice, more sweet honey, and cakey vanilla, a hint of cinnamon and anise build alongside nutty toasted oak.
Finish
Candied orange, crystalised ginger, a hint of maple, honeyed flapjack.
