Delicious single malt from the Tullibardine distillery matured for quarter of a century and then independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. King James IV is having a bit of a moment, bragging about how smart he is by saying distilling beer would make it taste better and that the scones have become too stale. Just because you're king doesn't mean you can show off.
Batch 4 is a release of 99 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Victoria sponge cake, greengages and marmalade. Oak furniture and old leather.
Palate: Buttery at first, though soon followed by juicy peach and plum. A good kick of winter spice appears later on.
Finish: Runny honey and a touch of tobacco.
