This is a delicious whisky from Tullibardine, released in 2013. It sees the Highland whisky finished for 12 months in 228-litre Red Burgundy wine casks from Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet.

Mediocre whisky with a honeyed but excessively sour palate and a slightly spicy finish on the bitter side. I am not sure what all the fuss is about.
Rather nice burgundy finish on this one.Smoother and tastier than I'd expected actually. Yes. I recommend this one. Sometimes Port or Wine finishes are worth a taste!
Dancing on air after a couple of shots (or was it 5) of 228 . Just a delight of flavours designed to put a smile on anyones face.
I really enjoyed this one, especially after finishing a bottle of sherry cask (MacAllan 12), this doesn't have lingering sweet finish but nice complexity from the wine casks. Very creamy and smooth, well balanced, for $45 this is a great deal maybe tied for the best bottle of Scotch I've had for under $50 (the other one is Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie Highland blend)
I'm throwing out there, I'm relatively young in my whisky taste journey. I do know that I like rich sherry or portwood finishes. My top is balvenie 21 port finish and penderyn portwood. I expected this to be the similar. It's not. Its bitter whether straight, bland with water or ice and sickly with ginger ale. A massive waste of time and cash
