A 22 year old Tullibardine single malt, bottled by Bartels Whisky for their Highland Laird range. This was distilled in 1993 and aged in a single bourbon hogshead until it was bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours. Bartels Whisky describe it as "complex and rewarding".
Nose: Thick cut marmalade, loads of fresh malt, malt loaf. Big and satisfying.
Palate: Herbal at first, with a handful of thyme and cardamom. More orange notes, with a touch of vanilla ice cream.
Finish: Long and quite fruity.
