Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is of medium-body and very smooth. There are notes of custard and toffee, caramel and vanilla cream with a touch of dried fruit. The palate is medium-bodied and supple. There is a solid barley sugar sweetness with notes of caramel and vanilla fudge with notes of marzipan. The finish long and sweet with an oily note.

Tullibardine 1988 Reviews
The best single malt
Received a bottle of this on my 21st birthday (I was born in 1988). Managed to save it for special occasions throughout my twenties, it was such a shame when finally finished! The best single malt I have ever had the pleasure to taste (and probably the best i will ever taste)! It was so smooth, with a lovely lingering finish.

one of the world's finest, if not the finest malt.
My late dad's favourite whisky, I still have the last two empty bottles in their boxes, one with half a dozen drams left in it. I have never found a smoother finer epitomy of the perfect malt.
Five stars is not enough!

I had this in 2002 and I still remember how wonderful it was. The best/smoothest whisky I have ever tasted
