Tormore distillery was taken over by Elixir Distillers in 2022, beginning production under the watchful eye of distillery manager Polly Logan in 2023. While we await the distillery's future releases, the Blueprint series offers us an exploration into the wood profiles that will form the foundation of the next generation of Tormore whiskies. This single malt spent 10 years maturing in toasted barrels for a profile packed with oak char, burnt caramel, dried herbs, and peppery spice.
