Tormore Blueprint 10 Year Old Cream Sherry
Tormore distillery was taken over by Elixir Distillers in 2022, beginning production under the watchful eye of distillery manager Polly Logan in 2023. While we await the distillery's future releases, the Blueprint series offers us an exploration into the wood profiles that will form the foundation of the next generation of Tormore whiskies. This single malt spent a decade maturing in cream sherry casks for a profile that's laden with notes of fudge, raisins, peaches, and cream.

Nose
Mellow oak and brown sugar join honeyed dates, jammy berries, and an elegant touch of leather.
Palate
Vanilla fudge, buttery oak, soft woody spices, then silky notes of syrupy peaches and cream.
Finish
Balanced spice, vanilla, sherried oak.
