A single cask Tormore released for the 12th instalment of Claxton’s Exploration Series. Distilled on 28 November 2016, the single malt spent nine years maturing in a fresh oloroso hogshead before it was bottled on 10 February 2026 at 50% ABV.

Nose
Icing sugar, sweet oak, dried fruit, and polished wood.
Palate
Pronounced oloroso sherry, firm tannins, bittersweet oak, and baking spice.
Finish
Drying oak, dark fruit, and a final spark of struck match.
