A very special old bottling of Tormore here presented by Douglas Laing as part of its 75th-anniversary celebrations. A 1988 vintage Speyside single malt has been selected here from the scenic distillery, one that was aged in a single sherry butt for 35 years before it was bottled at 46.2% ABV with no additional colouring or chill-filtration. This bottle is extra special and unique because it's been presented as a collaboration between two Douglas Laing series. One, its signature brand Scallywag, known for its blends of richly spiced and sweet Speyside single malts, and two its Xtra Old Particular range, one that highlights old and rare whisky. You can see how this edition ticks both boxes.
