Tormore 33 Year Old 1992 - Whiskyland Chapter Twelve (Decadent Drinks)
We've got something special here. A 1992 refill barrel of Tormore, aged for a jaw-dropping 33 years and bottled at natural cask strength of 53.7% ABV. This one is for the distillate purists – an old single malt that's bold, bright, waxy, and loaded with mature cereal character bottled without additional colouring or filtration. There's just 157 bottles of this one.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bright barley, lemon oil, chalk dust, bone marrow, leather, and dried herbs.
Palate
Zingy yet mature – fresh cereals, sweet breads, waxy citrus, and fruit tea.
Finish
Pressed meadow flowers, cereal sweetness, cider apples, and pollens. Spring in a glass.
