28 year old single malt from the Tormore distillery, aged in a Sherry butt from November 1988 to January 2017. This was independently bottled by Hunter Laing for their Old Malt Cask, with 391 bottles produced.
Stem ginger, chocolate digestives and banana fritters.
Vanilla-y at first, shortly followed by enjoyably bitter dark chocolate.
Banana again, now with a touch of apricot, too.
