Tormore 26 Year Old 1988 (cask CM226) - The Golden Cask (House of Macduff)
A bourbon-matured Tormore here, distilled back in 1988 and rested in a single cask for 26 long years. Eventually it was bottled for The Golden Cask range by House of Macduff at 53.3% ABV, with a release of 278 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Spiced stewed apple, toasty oak, and a touch of creamy sweetness.
Palate
Milk chocolate orange, with apple skin, and oily malt.
Finish
More spiced orchard fruit, with a dusting of nutmeg lingering.
