A Gleann Mór Tormore bottling! This one shows off the Sherried side of Tormore's personality, featuring whisky which was matured for 20 years (from August 1995 to January 2016) in Sherry butt #604, before being bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours. A release of 98 bottles, presented at 56.4% ABV.
There's oak aplenty here, along with plenty of sweet Sherry and orchard fruits.
Spicy and drying, but well balanced with its Sherried fruits. Lots of juicy berry notes.
Drying wood and the last hints of plump raisins.
