Tasty Tormore single malt, bottled as part of the Connoisseurs Choice range. This was distilled back in 1998 and set aside to mature until 2015, when Gordon & MacPhail came along and bottled it up at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla-y oak and huge helpings of fresh green apple balanced well.
Palate
Buttery sultanas, light cacao dryness and another kick of charred oak.
Finish
Enjoyably bitter and warming.
