This is an independent bottling of Tormore single malt Scotch whisky, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. It was distilled in Speyside in 1997 and aged until 2013, when it was bottled as part of the Connoissuers Choice range by Gordon & MacPhail.
Green apple slices and ripe pears. Malty and some classic bourbon-barrel vanilla notes deeper within.
Vibrant notes of cinnamon, grapefruit and developing vanilla. Rather lively.
A long finish, rich with vanilla.
Quite an intense ride, this one.

It’s full of flavour and taste, amazingly smooth, and a great price, one of the best along with Glenfarclas 15 and Dalmore 15.
