An interesting indie bottling here from Gordon & MacPhail, released for their Private Collection series - it's a 14 year old Tormore single malt finished in a Côte-Rôtie wine cask! This was distilled in July 2002 and bottled in March 2017 - 4,000 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rounded orange and mint, with a touch of jammy red berries.
Palate
Caramel-dipped chocolate, raspberry and kumquat. A hint of digestive biscuit chewiness.
Finish
Lingering lemongrass paired with juicy fruit sweetness.
