A delightful little 12 year old dram from the Speyside distillery, Tormore.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
The nose is quite light and fresh. There are notes of cut hay and stemmy grass, cut flowers and a leafy note. Hints of resin and pine oil with malt extract and toasted barley, hints of cinnamon and pepper. The palate is of medium-body and very smooth. There are notes of Dundee marmalade with fresh zesty note. There are hints of slightly sour grape and fresh hay and grass. There are notes of barley sugar and a soft oak. The finish is of good length with a touch of oak and hay.

The real McKoy and dogs bollocks of Speyside malts.
My brother brought this round one evening for a wee celebration. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this malt. Very smooth with a lovely sweetness. I look forward to purchasing this myself.

I hadn't come across this speyside malt before but bought it for twenty quid on offer. The best twenty quid i've spent in a long time! Smooth and beautifully drinkable. Would definitely and happily buy again at full price. Worth every penny.
