Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Oaky vanilla, beach bonfire smoke, cigar box, and lemon peel. bonfire smoke, salinity, maltiness, and sweet, vanilla-led oaky spice.

Palate The peat smoke continues, with oily citrus, hints of tropical fruit, vanilla biscuits, and a medicinal undertone.

Finish A touch floral, with orchard fruit, savoury peat smoke, and sea salt.

Gives hope
Torabhaig is relatively new so their range is small. I previously tasted Allt Gleann which had promising taste. I dud think it was too thin, almost unfinished. Well jumped to this batch strength to see if it got more texture. And boy does it! This is more of Islay peat bomb and kicks Talisker in the head. Amazing stuff, and gives hope for special drams coming from Torabhaigh
