Tormore 29 Year Old 1988 (cask 15243) - The Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)

A yummy, well-sherried single malt from the Tormore distillery, independently bottled by Hunter Laing! This was distilled in November 1988 and left to age in a refill Oloroso sherry butt for 29 years, until it was bottled for the Old Malt Cask range in May 2018. Just 206 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Malt loaf with salted butter, Nutella, cherry.

Palate

Chocolate gateau, cinnamon buns, a hint of toasted almond.

Finish

Rich roasted coffee notes, supported by yet more chocolate.
